BP

I don't know y this guy gave them a bad review!! Twin the mechanic there has been my mechanic for over 16 years and he had worked on my cars my family's cars and I highly recommend him! He has 2 other mechanics that are good also so I highly recommend them.

I took my car to get an oil change and have air put in my tires. I didn't ask them to look at anything else. Very straightforward and simple, right? WRONG...



When I picked up my car, their head mechanic gave me the invoice for the oil change and then proceeded to tell me that I had a major leak and needed new brake rotors too. He said that I needed work on my front axles and new rotors and that would correct the problem. Estimate to fix? Close to $900.



I took the car to Liberty Gas Station Gaithersburg, to get a second unbiased opinion. I didn't tell them about the BP estimate. They called me back to say that my rotors were fine, but I had a nail in my left front tire (which of course BP didn't catch even though they filled my tires) and that the leak was b/c the screw to my oil was loose and on it's last thread. Mm, I guess BP forgot to tighten.



BP Montgomery Village Auto Repair was totally trying to screw me over. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!
