Here are some suggestions: 1, There has been significant turn-over at the company, make sure you know who you are talking too (name, title, phone); 2, Have all agreements/arrangements in writing, for the "take-my-word-for-it" guarantee is bunk; 3, research the company, its policies and ask questions; 3, get a receipt for your rental payments; 4, take plenty of "before" and "after" pictures of the rental property.
