Worse gym worse customer service

Signed up 3/10/2012 and paid $80.00 with agreement that $40.00 would go towards two membership cost.. The other $40.00 would be our yearly sign up fee.. Then 3/31/2012 told that we have to redo application since we had not signed application.. So then we are charged another $80.00 which would be April and last month up front... After attending gym a few times noticed that equipment was always broken down. So tried to cancell membership just to find out they want to charge $25.00 to cancel and $70.00 because enhancement fee is billed to fix equipment and to be kept up... We disputed the amount since we never were able to use treadmills because always out of order now they want us to pay for a fee to keep equipment up. That's rediculous when it's always out of order... The staff there are horrible.. This Chris guy and Samantha are there flirting with each other and not even answering our questions or concerns. So irritating to deal with unprofessional people. I will never go there again and if you are thinking of signing up pay cash don't give them your info they will bill you for random things that they don't explain because of their lack of public skills..

Don't be conned by these sharks. Trying to cancel your membership even outside your contract period is a nightmare. There are numerous other similar reviews with the same theme. Save yourself the frustration and the rip off and join another gym.

This is a terrible gym. The problem is, you won't know it until after you sign their terrible contract. At which point, you will want to cancel your membership, which you won't be able to do. At which point, you will have to wait until your contract term is met before you can cancel, and even then won't be able to easily do it, and you'll end up paying for more months than you want to. Not to mention their staff sucks, and has no idea what customer service actually is. The only training the staff seems to have received, is how to be a shady salesperson and how to treat people like they are beneath you. Just terrible. I'm glad I left.
