Eclipse Roofing

I felt the job went very well. It took just over two days. My main contact was with the Project Manager, Ricky. He was friendly, very professional and answered all of my many questions. Picking the color for the shingles was hard for me. I asked Jeff to give me addresses for some of his other customers, so I could see what a completed roof looked like. I spent some time driving around the local area and ended up picking out a color completely different than what I liked in the brochure. I am very pleased with how it turned out.

We did get a very quick response when we phoned the roofer to get a quote. We had obtained his contact information through Angie's List. When he arrived, neither his personal appearance nor communication style was appropriate. He measured, went back to the shop to work the numbers out, then returned, handed the written proposal back to us. He left it for us to look at, with no call back to followup on whether we want the roof work done or not. We were honestly considering choosing them as the vendor. However, other subsequent roofing companies wanted our business and called us to see if we had reviewed the quote/estimate, but this company did not. So, we opted for someone we felt a better relationship with and who, quite frankly, quoted us a much lower price.

Jeff was courteous and very responsive to my needs. This was particularly important, given my hectic work schedule. The work was completed on time and the quality of the work was very high!

Jeff was punctual in walking and measuring our property to provide us with an estimate. He worked his proposal up within a short period of time. He provide various alternatives to the base price and provide brochures for the suggested materials. His estimate was not the cheapest, but a couple of hundred lower than the highest. He provided us with proof of license, and he agreed to add us during the job to his liability insurance as a certificate holder. He was up-front about subcontracting out the guttering and allowed us to contact the subcontractor directly about our questions concerning the rain barrels. Work was scheduled on July 6th and began on that day. A crew of around 6 or 7 men worked continuously during the day, starting around 7:30-8:00 and ending around 5:00-5:30 pm. The roofing was done in a timely matter about a day early (good weather). The guttering began on the scheduled day and took 3/ 4 of a day to complete with two men working continuously. Everyone was professional and was open to answering questions and addressing any concerns, I had during the work. The clean-up went well. I found only 2 or 3 nails total. Jeff checked in regularly to see that the work was progressing and we were happy with the process as well as the results.

I would recommend Eclipse Roofing. Very professional, timely and came to help even when he was swamped with calls. I had an great experience with Eclipse Roofing. Jeff is very responsive and was great about answering all my questions. His team was on-time, quick and did a good job of cleaning up afterward.
