This company aside from truly being the worst cleaning service, is reprehensible. The owner is rude and unprofessional and operates this business under several names. As you will read on several forums, he will have you sign a contract, send the most unskilled, unkempt and nastiest people to your house and have them take their sweet time poorly cleaning your house. You pay by the hour so after they spend 4 hours and get nothing done, you have no other choice but to pay for more time. The contract is completely one sided and I along with several other customers are filing a formal complaint with local DA's office because he sues all of his customers in small claims court when you eventually ask them to leave or never want them back again. There is so much more I need to say about this company but honestly, just read the REAL reviews and you will see what this character is up to. He has hundreds of lawsuits against his clients in a number of counties and he always wins. He makes his money by suing, posting fake reviews all over the place and not by actually cleaning. STAY AWAY from this piece of trash. Todd is a scam artist, classic and ruthless.

Before you hire this company, please do a background check. What I found most useful was their public court records. As of April 2014, this cleaning company has sued 45 individuals in a period of 6 years. In the last 2.5 years alone they have sued 37 times. And these figures may be understated as I only searched in Henrico and Chesterfield, VA...



You can find these figures publicly on the Virginia General District Court website: (http://epwsgdp1.courts.state.va.us/gdcourts/captchaVerification.do?landing=landing). First select "Chesterfield" or "Henrico". Then under "Civil Court" search by Name ("Mid Atlantic Maid" as well as "Maid Service"). Don't forget to flip through pages as there are multiple... NOTE: I haven't search other counties or states so I could be understating these facts.



My individual case was lost on account that I signed a contract that I could not get out of. The contract offers no way out for the client even if you are not happy with the services, cleaners, owner, etc. I also found the owner to be incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have been with Mid Atlantic Maid Service for 8+ years and have found them to be reliable and dependable. They do what they promise they will do. In the rare event that a problem has happened, Todd has been quick to rectify it. I would not have been with them this long had they not done a great job.

I have had many cleaning services over the years and none have cleaned my house like Mid Atlantic Maids, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
