Capitol Granite

Our kitchen is gorgeous and my wife and I love every part of it! The Capitol Granite installers couldn’t have been nicer when they installed our countertop. When they were done they left the work space meticulously clean. This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Thank you so much!

We had capitol install our new kitchen table tops through lowes, and they delayed our kitchen remodel by 2 months, basically holding everyone up. The general contractors said they are pos and terrible to work with and told us some other horror stories of them screwing up jobs. Please if you see lowes contracting them in your kitchen remodel, cancel or find someone else, not having a kitchen with dishwasher and sink for 2 months is terrible, especially when you're paying top dollar for a kitchen remodel. I would not recommend them to anyone.

We had Capitol install a counter top thru Lowes. The counter top looks good and the installers did a good job, however, five weeks after we had it installed, my wife knocked into a corner with a Pyrex dish. We heard something break and thought it was the Pyrex, but alas it was the corner of the counter top.

I called Capitol Granite and they said they could come out, but there would be $100+ service charge topped by an hourly rate. I told her we just has it installed. She said it was a 30 day warranty and it looks like we just missed it, there is nothing they can do.

I run a small family owned company and if a situation like this arose, I would certainly have taken care of the customer considering the circumstances. I am disapointed in Capitol Granite and would not reccomend them to others due to this experience. John Zacharias
