Cem Nasuhoglu, M.D. was raised in Turkey. He completed his Medical School in Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. He then received his certification from Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. He had interest in basic science and spent two years with Dr. Donald Hilgemann in the Department of Physiology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical center doing cardiac research. During his time with Dr. Hilgemann and Dr. Nasuhoglu had numerious publications with well respected journals. His interest was always taking care of children so he entered his residency program in pediatrics at Lousiana Medical Center at Shreveport. While there he received the honor of, "most patient seen" in his first year of his continuity clinic. During his time in research he developed an interest in cardiology and residency programs cardiac physiology. After completing his residency and internship in pediatrics Dr. Nasuhoglu decided to continue his training in pediatric cardiology. He finished his fellowship program at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. He also invested extra time to advance his skills in non-invasive cardiac imaging and fetal echocardiography at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He is a member of the American Heart Association. His special interest is general pediatric cardiology, fetal cardiology and echocardiography. He enjoys taking care of children with congenital heart defects and helping families to understand the cardiac problem of their child. Dr. Nasuhoglu has been practicing pediatric cardiology in Permian Basin Area since October, 2008.
