Am a new homeowner I've only had my house for 2 months. My basement had water spots on my carpet. I called my home warranty company, who sent a licensed plumber. the licensed plumber came in my house look the walls looked at both of my sub pumps and diagnose my problem as a foundation problem telling me that I needed to call a waterproof company.I called this company and jay came out and find the problem. it was a plumbing issue HVC. Jay saved me time and money what a life save and honest person he is he didn't try to sell me anything he just diagnosed the problem, tell me what it was and showing me. Thank you Jay!

I interviewed 4 contractors, all of whom had "A "ratings on Angie's List, to solve a wall reinforcing problem. Their recommendations ranged widely,as did the prices. The last contractor, Jay Bengtson of Armored Waterproofing, answered all my questions clearly, logically and completely; he also researched and sent me information on an alternative reinforcing method.

Jay's crew arrived punctually, and was professional in every way, considerate and polite. They worked industriously, completing the job in 2 days – demolishing existing studs, placing 10 I-beams, interior trenching and drainage system, concrete cover, white Duraskrim on all the walls, 2 new sump pumps, and all debris removed, including an old concrete laundry tub, which they replaced with a new one. The price was in the middle of the range of 4 proposals I received. The job was excellent, and I recommend them without reserve.

They responded quickly to my initial call for a quote. Helped problem solve and talk through potential solutions to a complicated waterproofing job that resulted from flooding. Found a crack in my basement with water sipping through one rainy week. I was worried it may cause flooding. I called several companies but it was only Armored Basement Waterproofing who was very accommodating over the phone and provided excellent customer service. Jay came the same day to look at the crack/s and gave me his honest opinion on what needed to be done. His guys came on time on the day we agreed upon and they got the job done fast and they cleaned after them as well. I also got a very good deal on this job order, if I went to another company I would have spent a big amount of money. I would recommend them to anyone.

I received three estimates for waterproofing a portion of my basement where I was having a problem. Not only did Armored basement have the lowest price of the three, they also had the best plan for location of the sump pump. The other two companies would have had it located in a very visible and obtrusive location, but Armored placed it under the stairs, unseen and virtually without noise. Also, one of the other companies made me aware that there would be an awful lot of dust as a result of breaking up the concrete floor. Armored had a method that produced almost no dust at all.



After the work was done (in one day), I noticed a very small leak coming from the discharge line. Armored Waterproofing fixed it a few days later in about 15 minutes.



Jay was very friendly and answered all of my questions, and addressed all of my concerns. They offer a lifetime warranty on the work.

I recently had a crack in my basement wall which caused a good amount of water damage. I had a Company who attempted to repair the problem. Gratefully I didn’t have the drywall replaced right away because when the next big rain came the repair did not hold and once again there was water in the room. Fortunately I then called Armored Basement Waterproofing. Jay gave a very thorough and detailed explanation of the problem and what would be needed to successfully repair the leak so I don’t have to worry about a reoccurrence. Excellent workmanship, timely and reasonably priced repair and done by professional but caring people. Great job!

After getting estimates from several companies we decided to get our basement waterproofed by Armored Basements. They had excellent reviews and were very up front and honest. We set up the day to start the work and the crew was right on time. They were very polite and respectful of our belongings. They covered everything to keep it clean while they worked. They were efficient in getting the job done. Everyone was professional and they cleaned all the debris up before they left. They went over all the work that was done and gave great instructions to help maintain it. Our basement used to leak after any rain but since getting it waterproofed by Armored Basement Waterproofing we have not had any problems.
