Meyer Glass & Mirror Company

I have dealt with Meyer Glass for many years and have always had great service - from buying porch windows to having glass and frames repaired, I have been very pleased. Timely service and very friendly.

This company has absolutely no business or customer service skills. I am a contractor of over 40 years and in all my time doing business with sub-contractor's, I have never dealt with such an inept group of people. The left hand does not connect to the right.
I have used them on several projects and each one they managed in some way to botch. I first tried to get an account set up with them, that never happened and it is not because of my 800+ credit score for my corporation, that has been in business since 1989.
The first incident I had involved them overcharging a client that had provided a debit card for me to use on there job and over limiting the card, causing the client embarassment when they tried to use there card. Next, they told one client they could not have what they wanted for a glass partition for there shower and then drilled a hole in there tub that they could not fix. Last client job they did have the courtesy to even bill the job through the contractor, they billed me deposit and billed client the remainder. Here is the kicker, they then went around me and got another job from the client, direct.
I made every attempt to try and work out the reasoning and as a prudent gentleman, give them the benefit of the doubt. I called to speak with the owners and left messages with the staff, I even stopped in to there office, left a card and asked for someone to please get back to me.
Well you can make whatever determination you would like to from this comment. If you were my client, I would send you elsewhere!

Terrible customer service. Didn't provide the product I ordered, after several attempts. I told the owner I didnt want to continue using their service and his reply was, "and." I was shocked and do not recommend this business.

They did a good job on the window, But they cracked my dash. The installer said that he would replace it for me.
