ASAP Air Conditioning & Heating

I called and was having issues with my air conditioning and Brian walked me through it and was awesome thank you so much!

Wayne from ASAP air was extremely friendly, fast, and fair. My old unit completely went out so I purchased a new unit from him. His team had it installed within a few hours. Bruce and Tito were FAST. They were clean and careful around our home. I would highly recommend this company. I was impressed with the level of customer service provided to me throughout the whole experience. I was most of all impressed that they were truly fast, they got us out of the hot Arizona summer heat in just a few hours from diagnosing the system to new install.

I highly recommend ASAP Air Conditioning & Heating in Mesa for any repair or installation needs! They are prompt, reasonable, honest, and very personable. We were given quotes by 4 other heating/ air conditioning companies in the east valley, and ASAP saved us thousands on 2 new air conditioners. We got a quote on a Friday, and the new units were installed by the following Monday. They deserve 5 stars for their service!!

If I could give "0" stars in rating, I would. The output of cool air in my house significantly dropped. I called ASAP. The guy who showed up said that my thermostat was bad and needs to be replaced. I told him to go ahead and replace it. The charge was $260. After he left, I checked my vents. There was no improvement in the cool air flow. I called the next day. They sent two techs who without consulting me went ahead and changed the blower motor. 2 hours and 700 dollars later, the techs said that it's ok now. I checked the vents for cool air output...No change! A minute amout of cool air was coming out but not nearly as strong as it should be. I told them this is unacceptable. They called their supervisor (the guy who changed the thermostat the day before) who came and said that this is how it should be and told me that he can clean the coils of the unit which "PROBABLY" are dirty and that's why the air is not flowing well. He told me that it will cost 900 DOLLARS to acid wash the coils!! He then told me that he will give me a deal to do it for $700! At this point the whole thing started to smell bad. I spent nearly a $1000 and the problem was not solved. I refused to have the coils cleaned for this price. The next day I called a different company to look at my A/C. A tech showed up, opened the panel and showed me a gigantic block of ice sitting on top of the coils that was blocking the air flow. The reason for the the ice build up was low freon level. After all the ice melted, the tech filled up the freon and the air is working like new. He said there was no need to acid wash the coils as they were not dirty. I paid 300 bucks for the repair. I called ASAP to request at least partial compensation for the fony repairs and charges. The response: Basically no refund no deals no way no how we have been in business since 1984 and we know better. I asked for at least a refund of the labor charges and agreed to pay for the parts (that didn't need to be replaced in the first place). No response so back to: no refund no deals no way no how we have been in business since 1984 and we know better.
In summary; a very dishonest service with very little competency. They didn't have a clue (or didn't want to have a clue wink wink) what was wrong with my A/C and just kept replacing part after part charging me stratospheric amounts for it. To top the cake I need to add that they swiftly took my old motor, which was my property, and then refused to bring it back. After I mentioned that the Police needs to be involved, he said that he will bring it for a charge!!!! Consumer be warned because the one thing you will get ASAP for sure is money out of your wallet.

I am writing this review to thank ASAP for a job well done! We were an unfortunate victim of a broken AC unit on a hot July day in Arizona. We called ASAP and got service within 2 hours on a friday, late afternoon. The technician was very polite, knowledgable and professional and got the unit up and running in no time. I am so happy I called ASAP. I was so impressed with their quick response, knowledge and reasonable prices that I will not only use them for any future problems but will refer to anyone I know. They provided me with the best service I have had in years. Thanks again ASAP, you are tops in my book!

Called in the morning and they were on time with friendly and quick service. Took a few minutes, told me what was wrong, fixed the problem (had parts on the truck) and now we have VERY COOL AC. Thanks to Humberto for friendly and professional service.

ASAP gave us a super deal on a new AC system. The office staff was friendly and the installers did a nice job. The overall experience was awesome!

Having lived in the desert all my life I've had AC problems and experiences with other air conditioning companies that were never as positive as ASAP. This company has won me over!! The are a really nicely run company that performed the installation with no problems what-so-ever!. The owner, Wayne, personally set my job up and followed up with me after the installation was complete to confirm my complete satisfaction.
