My wife and I established Great American Homes in 1990, and began building panelized homes in the spring of 1991 in the Menomonie and Dunn County area. We built 6 homes our first year, which was our goal. Since our first year, Great American Homes has grown to become the leading home builder in the entire Chippewa Valley area, building an average of over 25 homes per year. Our designs, sales, and customer satisfaction have consistently won several awards. We added our salesman in 2000, who designs and draws blueprints. It's truly one stop shopping. We believe that our success is due, in part, to the personal care we give to each and every client. We truly understand that building a new home is the most important and personal thing we can do for you. Our commitment to quality and satisfaction, at a fair price, is our ultimate goal. Our guaranteed pricing quotes ensure that the price quoted is the price you will pay for your new home. We include everything in our quote, with very few allowances. There are no hidden charges or extra bills at the end of the project, unless specific changes are made by the homeowners during construction. We offer a 10 year structural warranty on the home, and honor all of the individual warranties: 30 year shingles, heat and air, siding, windows, etc. All of our homes are built to Energy Star Standards, or better. We build Green! Our standards include energy efficient windows, high efficiency heating and cooling systems, R-50 ceiling insulation, R-19 wall insulation, insulated basements, and more. Most of our sub-contractors have been with us since 1991, and have proven their quality and dependability. With their help and cooperation, we have put together an excellent team to build your home in a timely fashion. Most of our homes are completed within 45 to 60 days from the start of construction. We put together a calendar of completion, so all of our sub-contractors and you, will know what is being done at your home each and every day until completion.
