Founded in 1988, German-American International School is an independent, private, nonprofit school that serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school offers classes in math, science, English, physical education and social studies. Its library maintains a selection of books and reference materials. German-American International School operates homework and drama clubs, as well as provides after-school care programs. The school is spread over an area of more than 5 acres. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and an authorized International Baccalaureate World School. German-American International School offers a range of sports activities, such as tennis, baseball, soccer, basketball and volleyball. Additionally, the school hosts parent workshops.
