Mid-South Specialties has been restoring concrete, masonry and associated structures from garages to multistory buildings since the 1959 in Memphis, Tenn. Services offered by the company include painting, caulking, waterproofing, tuckpointing, masonry restoration, concrete restoration, epoxy overlays/coatings, secondary chemical containment, tank linings, hydro blasting, shotblasting and sandblasting. Concrete refurbishing includes partial and full-depth repair of deteriorated concrete due to erosional elements. Tuckpointing is the removal and replacement of masonry, mortar and/or brick, usually necessary due to the age of a building. Cementitous and elastomeric coatings include the installation of applicable coatings to ensure extended life of repairs. The company provided the painting, waterproofing, caulking and floor coatings services for the Pyramid in Memphis, the third-largset building in the world that is taller than the Statue of Liberty and Taj Mahal.
