        The Rio Linda Union School District operates more than 20 elementary schools and provides educational services to over 10,000 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its schools offer educational programs in reading, music, language arts, math, English, science, social studies, health and physical education, speech and creative writing. The district s schools have libraries that encourage creativity and individual use of all types of print and technology resources by students and staff. In addition, each district school has a cafeteria that offers a selection of food items to students. The district operates business services, maintenance and operations, transportation, technology, purchasing, family resources, human resources and administration departments. The Rio Linda Union School District has been operational since 1914 and is located in Rio Linda, Calif.
