I've been using the services of Dr. Anzola and her Ascent staff for 6 months starting on 30 January 2012. Before then, I had been wearing inner ear hearing aides for both ears for many years from another firm. I wasn't totally happy with those aides because they had become behind the technology curve. Based on Dr. Anzola's counseling, I changed to Receiver-in-Canal hearing aides which she programmed to the proper hearing system controls. I am totally happy with these aides. I can now select the proper control option according to certain situations -- restaurant/party noises, loudness and softness speaking, theatre/distances, etc.
I have been extremely impressed by the excellent performance and credentials of Dr. Anzola and her staff. These have been applied very well. They all have provided professional and knowledgeable services accompanied with patience and understanding to fit the needs of others.

I have worn hearing aids for 10+ years and always found them to be useful, but difficult to live with and less than fully satisfying. My family physician recommended Ascent Audiology & Hearing. I followed his advice and I am very glad I did. Dr. Heather Stone briefed me on the latest hearing aid technology and, based on my preferences, fitted me with a pair of Starkey Halo 2 hearing aids. She patiently taught me how to get the most out of this new technology through my iPhone controls.. She was thorough and professional in her evaluation of my needs and the training required for me to use the Halo 2 system.

I now trust and regard her highly with this medical care. Dr. Anzola is an excellent listener and explains very well how hearing aids assist with better hearing. She invited my wife's participation in the initial interview and her observations of my experience with the new hearing aids. There was no pressure towards more expensive alternatives; she recommended starting with a lower priced hearing aid, then over time trying more recent, higher priced technology if she and I thought these options may further help my hearing. I am now six months into using my new hearing aids, have noticed improved hearing with them, and intend to continue with the recommended six-month follow-up appointments to make adjustments as they may become necessary.

Excellent service

After having been a patient at several other hearing centers, I was introduced to Ascent Audiology and Dr. Ana Anzola.. End of search! She listened to my concerns and needs, and recommended a hearing aid system that dramatically improved my ability to understand what was going on around me. Don't be mistaken - I still have hearing loss, but in contrast to my hearing level before Dr. Anzola, there has been real improvement. She continues to have my thanks, and I continue to be her patient.
