Sunny Days After School

My daughter loves spending her summers at SD! She loves all the teachers and Ms. Amy. You cannot beat all the activities and field trips they do for the price. And I like the comfort of knowing she is learning how to respect her classmates because of the example Ms. Amy and the staff provide. We will be back next summer and I recommend SD to any parent.

My son has been attending Sunny Days for the past several years. He has been to both the afterschool program and for summer camp. Mrs. Amy and her staff are wonderful. The kids not only have a blast playing in the gym and outside on the massive playground, but they also learn respect and responsibility. The afterschool program allows the children to do their homework, with the help of the teachers if needed and they also encourage reading. Mrs. Amy has a wonderful summer program with tons of special activities and she even surprises the kids with special events. She is an exceptionally kind, wonderful, generous, giving, loving women. Your child will love Sunny Days!

My daughter attended morning and after-school care, as well as the summer day program here for six years. She loved every minute of her time at Sunny Days. The owner, Amy, is respectful of each child, but expects them to act respectful as well. She is a wonderful woman and she makes sure that each member of her staff loves children and has high expectations for their behavior and education. It is a fun, safe place where your child will be loved. My daughter and I (as well as Ms. Amy) were so sad when we outgrew Sunny Days. Although, we haven't ruled out my daughter working there when she is old enough.

We knew so many people in our community that recommended Sunny Days so we finally made the switch about 5 years ago and could not be happier with our decision. Our oldest does not like change. Mrs. Amy sat with us for over an hour to reassure him he would be safe and she would be available whenever he needed anything. Once we changed he was still apprehensive and we had another meeting with Mrs. Amy after hours so he could get comfortable. It didn't take long and he was having a great time. When it was time for our second child to enroll there was no hesitation. We were at another facility in the area that consistently cancelled activities and the kids were always bored. Not at Sunny Days. The kids stay busy and are active. Mrs. Amy allows them to be creative but also has rules she expects to be followed. I am thankful we made the switch and would highly recommend Sunny Days.

Our kids went to Sunny Days after-school and summer camp from age 4-12. They loved it and have great memories of the lock-in overnights and made lasting friendships. The staff are great and Ms. Amy was a teacher in the past- she is great at coming up with developmentally appropriate games and activities. The facility is great! It used to be a gymnastics place so inside is a padded gym floor with a foam pit and trampoline in the floor! There are outdoor playgrounds too. A+++

miss Amy and the staff at sunny days are top notch. my son started at sunny days before kindergarten and stayed until he was 12. we never had any problems and would not trust anyone else with our child. jaxon had a wonderful experience at sunny days and learned and grew so much thanks to miss Amy and her staff. one of the best choices we have made for our son. thank you miss Amy and the entire staff and sunny days! jaxon has very fond memories of you all.

We were blessed to be referred to Mrs. Amy at Sunny Days this past summer, when our summer camp we had attended decided to no longer offer care. We attended open house night and our son was super excited to be there. He did not want to miss a minute there! He made great friends but even better he learned how to be a better version of him. Mrs. Amy and her staff love every one of these kids as if they are their very own. Ours comes with his own unique set of challenges and parameters with some medical concerns and they were not concerned from day one as they are PROS and I could not have been more at ease. Mrs. Amy keeps them busy not just physically, but mentally, artistically, educationally, and thoughtfully. I don't know how she does it, but she exceeds every expectation for everyone! Our little guy is in a school that s not a location that is picked up from for afterschool care with her or we would be there afterschool everyday - his wish ( and ours). He absolutely loved it, he had summer camp for two weeks away at sleep away camp and was truly upset he was missing all the exciting fun at Sunny Days with his friends but we had made commitments for him to go so we made him honor those commitments and he was so upset that he missed Mrs. Amy and her staff. He has been begging to get to attend Sunny Days while on Chirstmas break from school because he misses them all so much! I promise you if you send your child you will absolutely not be disappointed in any way - its an amazing place and the staff is phenomenal! Mrs. Amy will blow your mind with the level of care and excitement they have everyday! they will NEVER be bored, and will learn so much about who they are as individuals ( your children) and in ways you could not fathom! Mrs. Amy's calling was to work with children and she is a wizard at it!

We've had at least one of our three children at Sunny Days after school or during the summer since 2007. Sadly our youngest just outgrew Sunny Days and we won't be able to see Amy or her crew each day. Over the years she, along with an awesome, caring team, have been great for our kids...they made many new friends there. The fact that it was family owned and Amy had been doing this her whole career was a big plus for us. She came highly recommended and we never once doubted our decision to entrust our kids with her. Thanks for what you did for us and our community.

Sunny Days is awesome! My daughter attended summer camp there this year and absolutely loved it. The staff is top notch, Amy is wonderful. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The summer was packed with activities and fun field trips. They even had a couple of family nights on the calendar. I love that the kids have time each day to quiet down and read a book, and my daughter loved being able to bring her electronic game each day. She enjoyed it so much she tells me at least once a week she can't wait to go back. I highly recommend SD!

This is by far the best after school/summer camp for school age kids! Ms Amy has a natural gift in dealing with kids. She loves everyone of them like they were her own. Don't let this fool you, however. She makes sure all kids are respectful and are well behaved. My kids loved every minute of their time at Sunny Days. They made great friends and learned so much from Any and her staff. I highly recommend this after school facility!

Sunny Days is amazing!! Mrs. Amy and her team are so awesome! She is always doing such fun things in summer camp and making sure the children build lasting memories! I had to pick my daughter up early one day for a doctor appointment and after her appointment she begged to go back to Sunny Days because she hates missing out on anything they are doing. My youngest will start there next summer and she's been counting down the days she can attend! I can not say enough great things about this place! If you want your child to have the best summer ever then look no more because Sunny Days is the place to be!

Sunny Days is the best after school care of all time. Ms. Amy and the staff are the most compassionate, hard working individuals that my son was lucky to be apart of. They cared, helped the kids learn new things with crafts, animals, games and guided them with their homework. I'm blessed that my son went there and was loved and cared after such great people. I recommend this place to anyone looking due to the impact my son endured. He not only enjoyed Ms. Amy and the staff he also made life long friends.

Sunny Days is awesome. My 12 year old said we had to give it 5 stars. I have 2 kids who have gone to sd for after school care and summer for 4 years. I always knew they were safe and cared for in a loving, respectful and fun place! I loved that they were picked up from school and given a break, snack and did all their homework! Summer was filled with fun activities on-site and great field trips around town. Ms. Amy and her staff loved our kids and enjoyed what they did and my kids loved it!

Our kids have gone there for 4 years now and they love it. I never have to worry about kids when they are at Sunny Days. Amy and her team are the best!

Sunny Days is a great place! The staff treats the kids with respect and is all about making Sunny Days a safe and fun place to be. I would recommend them to anyone.

This place is FANTASTIC! My child started going to after school last year. She loves the people who work there and most of all she loves Mrs. Amy. Mrs. Amy is an amazing person who cares about each and every one of the students who attend her after school. She runs a program that has very clear expectations, but allows for the kids to actually have fun! Both of my children go there now in the afternoons and they love it- they even beg me to leave them there for a long time and are mad when I come and get them early. I can not say enough good things about this place!

Our son just finished his second Summer at Sunny Days and we can't say enough good things about it! We moved about 35 minutes away just before it was time for him to start Summer Camp this past Summer and explored other options. After talking with our son he decided he wanted to stay at Sunny Days because "Ms. Amy was so nice." No, the center isn't new but it is also not dirty! The children have everything they could ever ask for and Ms. Amy always has the best interest of the children at heart. Ms. Amy appreciates her staff and children so much that she cried while giving her speech at the award ceremony at the end of the Summer. I cannot say enough good things about this center and will no doubt be making the drive 35 minutes to and from next Summer too!

Sunny Days is the BEST place for our children when they can't be with us. Mrs. Amy is easily the most compassionate care giver and chooses her team wisely. Our children have been attending summer camp there for many years and will for many years to come. When I hear other adults talk about how much they loved Sunny Days as a child I feel lucky that we are able to be a part of the SD family! I highly recommend Sunny Days for after school and Summer Camp. You won't be sorry!
