Dr Hahn's practice is set up so from the time you walk in the door you go from one process to another - they check your eyes with the machines where you get the puff of air and watch the ballon, then the doctor sees you, he hands you back over to the technician who fits you for contacts (or you see the guy who does the glasses), and then you see the doc again to make sure things are working correctly, then you're done. I always take a book with me and I'm lucky to read 4-5 pages while I'm there. You never feel like you're wasting your time waiting and I commend Dr Hahn and his team for the great process they've put in place!!
