Cranberry Lake Campgrounds

We arrived on a Friday evening. I knew where our campsite was from the phone conversation for reservations. Since we arrived after the office closed, we went to our site and I called the number to let them now we had arrived. The manager came to our site and told us if we needed anything to call the number and he would help us out. It is a peaceful place, very relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for. We had ample room at our site. Everyone around us was wonderful. I thought the restroom was an "outhouse" only to find that it had a real toilet and sink. The office had showers, washer, dryer and a small store for the forgetfuls. They also had ice cream and candy. The lake was beautiful, and quiet. There was a place to launch your own boat or you could rent one. There was a swimming area and a playground. We walked the campground and everything we saw was lovely. This is a very pet friendly campground. I can't say enough good things about it.



This campground is well off the beaten path yet within 7 miles of a Wal-Mart and Meijer's. You don't hear any road noises. We will be going back again and planning on bringing friends or family with us.

We came out on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 for Hank's 50th birthday celebration. Hank's friends were pulled together for a 2-3 hour jam session. What a lot of fun!! Todd, Dan, and Markus were there joining in song with Hank. Everyone watching was dancing and singing. My husband and I stayed the night in the East bunkhouse. It was very clean and quiet. We woke up and opened the curtains to the beautiful scenery of Cranberry Lake in the morning right from our windows! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. The people camping at the campground were welcoming as well. We has a great time! We are seriously thinking of becoming seasonal campers at this campground. Todd and Nancy Curran

The lake setting is like a piece of heaven and everyone there is very friendly and helpful.There are plenty of things for the kids and adults to do.Between the outdoor playground,volleyball,fishing,boating,swimming and camping I don't know where to start.We love it all!The serene setting and majestic,peaceful woods is definitely the place to be.Canadian geese and goslings walk around to meet you by the shores and hummingbirds are all around.My favorite are the cranes that fly so close to you.

There are cabins with lofts to rent both big and small and plenty of bathrooms all over the campground.Nice and clean shower facilities are also there.There's a new office buiding with a ping pong table,supplies one might forget, ice,and ice cream.Plenty of room to camp out in tents also.Picnic tables are with every camp sight and fire pits for the late nighters.The atmosphere will mellow any soul out.I highly recommend this campground to everyone.campground New campers and loving it all.Stop by and spend a night or better yet the summer!
