My wife and I have been bringing our dogs to Lockridge Animal Hospital since before Drs McCammon and Richard took the practice over from Dr Lockridge in 1996. Over the years we've had appointments with all of the doctors on the hospital's letterhead; they and the rest of the staff have provided nothing less than excellent care, and not only on routine checkups. With 4 dogs we've been through 2 cases of liver cancer, an enlarged heart, a stroke, a bullet removal and an advanced case of heartworm. They've always done a good job of explaining what was involved and giving us their honest assessment of the risks, the costs and the likelihood of our dog coming out of it with a qood quality of life. Some of the treatments were expensive, but reasonable given the quality of care, and we were never pressured - some decisions were tough, but they were our decisions and Lockridge supported us in them. We're happy to have a practice we can trust, and can't recommend Lockridge highly enough

I have been a client of Lockridge Animal Hospital for well over 10 years now and would never consider going to another vet. When I first called Lockridge I was a client of another not so kind vet here in Manchester. I had a chihuahua whom was 9 days overdue in having her puppies my vet told me call them back in 5 days if she had not had them. Concerned I found Lockridge in the phone book called and was made an appointment that day were they scheduled my baby girl for a c-section. When my cat became blocked for the first time they treated him with such care and kindness. For over 4 years now they have helped me with him in so many ways I can not even begin to thank them. Recently I had to put that little boy down and the one thing that will always stick in my mind is Dr. Pamela Richard standing there giving me a hug with tears in her eyes just as I was, reminding me of the very first day I brought that little boy cat to them 10 years ago. If you love your animals go there!

Dr. Dianne Carey has been our care provider for our 3 year old male, golden retriever (Sam) since he was a pup at Lockridge. She has gone over and above to give us and our dog her 100% plus...attention. From neutering, tumor removal, kissing boo boo's to make him feel better---basically, regular exams, dealing with skin issues and a lot of follow up after each area of concern. She has worked with a conservative approach, yet aggressive when she needed to be. We appreciate all aspects of her care. She is a especially caring, compassionate and an excellent clinician. We are lucky to have her as our dogs primary care doctor!! KOODOS to Dr. Carey!! As far as cost, "it is what it is" to go to an excellent, above average facility and receive quality care from all aspects. The atmosphere is professional, clean and caring...admin., techs., doctors.......must we go on?!...........Thank you.

I have been using them for years. They did surgery for breast cancer on one of my cats 4 years ago and she is still cancer free. My other cat was diagnosed with lymphoma and had a huge tumor 3 month ago. The tumor is now gone and he is back to his old self.

Very poor service, over-priced, condescending and slow to respond during emergency to provide another hospital records... my dog eventually passed away.
