they were able to do custom windows for my old house. I can now open the windows. We will see this winter how well they insulated, but I saw them install all the right stuff and very quickly.

A couple years ago, we called Mad City for roof repair after a hail storm. The salesman that came out was very informative and helpful. Then the work crew came out and that's when the "fun" began. They left the trash left from their lunch on our lawn along with some metal roofing supplies which would have been great for the lawn mower to go over. In no time, shingles starting falling off the roof. We called the company back to complain and they admitted they were very busy and may have hired a below standard sub contractor. Well, they sent someone out to check the roof . It took them about a half hour to go over the large roof and put in a couple nails. Sure enough in a few months more shingles came down. We tried to contact them again with pictures, but of course we didn't get a response.



Well a couple years later, we are still replacing shingles every few months. We've kept the hardward stores in business buying tar and roofing nails.

I called to set up appts. with several window replacement places, but when I called this place they REFUSED me an appt unless BOTH the husband and wife were present. I stated we are not buying we are collecting quotes, window pricing and options and we are not sure if we will buy some or all in 2010 or 2011, surely you do not need both of us there to collect a quote. I asked them to escalate to their approving authority and get back to me. They never got back to me and when I called them back they stated they did not get approval to meet with just me. They have to have high pressure sales tactics to try and close the deal in one meeting. Who passes up customers? Be very leary going in.

Very shoddy workmanship. Should possibly learn English as a second language. Would not consider them for any project.

We are very happy with the job Mad City did. Everything from the initial call to the details on the contract and then the quality of the craftsmanship is fantastic! I recommend them to all my family and friends! I would hire them again for sure!

In 2006 we sustained damage to our roof from the hail storm. Mad City Roofing came out and was exceptional. My roof was complete in 1 day with no problems!

We had very bad experience with them. Our roof was replaced by Mad city and we had water come into our house - the ridge vent installed by Mad city was blocked totally which cause water condensation in our attic. We almost sued Madcity if our insurance did not pick up the bill.

We hired Madcity to replace our roofing after hail damage, which turned out to be such a disaster. We are really MAD at madcity!!! Even since Madcity replaced our roofing, we had water infiltration into our house every winter. Our attic is totally soaked due to the poor ventilation – this is simply because Madcity used a low profile ridge vent and due to poor workmanship (only one side was cut, they did not even bother to cut the ridge vent on two sides!!!). To make things worse, they did not even install ice and water shields as required by the manufacturer. These deficiencies have resulted in extraordinary moisture build-up in the attic space and caused water-related damages to various building components, including insulation, walls, and ceilings. In addition, mold started to grow in the attic space, and elsewhere in our house!



We have previously advised Mad City of these problems repeatedly since the problems first emerged, and Mad City’s responses to date have been unsatisfactory (slow and insincere). Instead of acknowledging these deficiencies and correcting the problem immediately, they tried not to assume any responsibility to our problems, instead they tried to blame their obvious breach of standard construction standard on the energy efficiency of our house, even the moisture generated from our breathing, cooking in the house and addition of a baby which was totally outrageous!



So think about it before you make decision to hire Madcity …
