Laura's xtreme cleaning services

Received a recommendation from a friend who knew a friend who knew a guy who knew a cousin who knew a cleaning service. In short, they just "knew" someone who might know someone, but couldn't vouch for them.

I gambled and call Laura. She politely answered phone, comforting me that she can tackle the cleaning job, but she would need to visit the place to give an estimate. She scheduled me in for 6 p.m. on Friday. We waited until 8 p.m., she did not show. She did not call or text nor responded to our calls. On a hunch, we had a family member call with their phone, to fictitiously book an appointment. She immediately picked up and started taking appointment details.

It was only later that those who recommended her said they also heard bad experiences. I suppose that I only lost an evening with family due to her no-show, but it could have been worse. I could not recommend this service to anyone because lack of communication, no-show, and intentionally ignoring or reminder call speaks volumes for the integrity and honesty of Laura.

Really poor. I let her come 3 times and gave feedback on big omissions (like cobwebs, radiators, grimy counters). 3rd time she didn't even clean under the coffeemaker or mop any floors including the bathroom. And not even cheap! Total bad job.
