        George Washington Middle School, also known as GWMS, is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes math, language arts, physical education, science and social studies. The school also offers various extracurricular activities, such as orchestra, chorus and band. George Washington Middle School provides the English as a Second Language program. It also organizes several athletic activities, including basketball, volleyball, softball and cross-country. The school offers membership opportunities in the National Junior Honor Society. In addition, George Washington Middle School operates yearbook, drama and art clubs. It has a parent-teacher-student association and provides transportation services. The school is a part of Lyons Elementary School District 103.
