        We are Ron Kellar and Julie Whitehead, owners and operators of Sunsational Pools & Spas, Inc., a state-licensed pool contractor. With more than 25 years each of firsthand experience and extensive knowledge in all phases of construction, we have built a reputation for personal and professional service throughout Palm Beach County and beyond. From designs to permits to construction to finishing touches, we take care of your entire project and are personally available and involved. Our selected manufacturers, like Jandy, Pentair and Hayward, reflect our commitment to quality products. While we focus on new construction, we also do renovations, additions and replacements -- pumps, filters, salt-generating machines, waterfalls and lighting, to name a few.         Buyer Beware! This company requires you pay for everything upfront, not when services are rendered. They are poorly organized and their customer service is non-existent. The owner Julie Whitehead will tell you nothing is her responsibility and will NEVER answer an email. All aspects of the job are contracted out, so you end up with people at your home unsupervised by Sunsational, although your contract is with them. My "project superintendent", and I use that term loosely, only came by to collect payments that, again, were all requested PRIOR to work starting, at the various phases of the pool build. My yard was a disaster from day one and it just got worse throughout the project. They busted sprinkler lines in my swale which had nothing to do with the pool dig but claimed they were not responsible for it. They left gunnite/cement in my swale which the city inspector had to tell them to dispose of or they had no intention of doing. They installed options in my pool that I did not select, nor was given an opportunity to select. It was not until I yelled and screamed that the items were removed and replaced. They threw out twenty 24”x24” pavers I had set to the side to create a walkway in my side yard. They offered to replace them with filthy 8”x8” pavers from their warehouse. The list for this nightmare pool build goes on and on. Feel free to contact me directly for additional information and/or photos of the caliber of work you will receive should you decide to hire these folks. If you are considering this company for your pool build, I have one word of advice...DON'T. They may be more economical and/or faster than the next company, but that certainly does not equal quality. The warranty that owner Julie tells you about is non-existent. When you call for warranty items, you are ignored. My pavers are a disaster less than a year from completion. Julie Whitehead is a used car salesman.
