Overall

The staff is knowledgable, attentive and appropriately behaved for this type of restaurant. You must make a reservation ahead of time (month or two for a good time slot and table).

The food is expensive so the tasting menu will allow for a well rounded experience if you plan to visit very sparingly. It is well worth it. Wine and cocktails were above par.

Now let me also say I enjoy warm service paired with great food as much as the next guy (Gotham bar and grill for example), and am definitely not an upper class snob... but this is a fine dining establishment of a very high level...customers who have had a bad experience with service were probably either underdressed, forgetful of manners or ignorant to the way reservation etiquette works at this type of restaurant.

Having dinner in the lounge area or a reservation at 10:30 pm might not make for the best experience. If you can remember where you are and plan ahead,will not disappoint. One of the best dinners I have ever had.

Thanks for a nice night!

Very nice restaurant. We had a wonderful evening on the patio. Wayne, the head chef, personally gave us some seating tips which were perfect. All the staff were great, wine was nice, food delicious. Thanks!
