Green Spot

I stopped going to the Green Spot many years ago, but recently discovered a huge improvement in their stock of trees. This nursery now has some of the best balled and burlapped trees in Northern Colorado. Most of their trees come from their own fields, so are well acclimated to our climate, and, as an arborist, I can attest to the fact that they have been properly pruned for structure. This is a big deal, if you care about longevity and strength in our harsh environment. My only complaint last year was that some of the root balls were small for the caliper of tree, but most of them were not. Never mind the "service"; if you want solicitous salespeople, go to one of the rip-off retail nurseries. This is a high quality retail/wholesale nursery, with reasonable prices on high quality trees. And it is right here in Boulder County.. I'm glad I gave them another try.

Clean cut local contractor visited store to inquire into wholesale pricing was met with extremely snobby attitude, asked for numerous pieces of documentation and when presenting said documents was basically told to get out of the ladies face unless he profited more from his landscaping clients then his general contracting clients. I think your company needs to take a look at how it's representatives/owners are treating new potential customers at your nursery, more especially when that customer is a local landscaping/general contractor. The retail pricing was also higher than some of the other nurseries in the area (couldn't tell you about wholesale =)and there are not any prices listed near the actual plants. This is an old sales trick to get you in the office with the plants before you know how expensive it will be.
