Madame Paulette Dry Cleaners

Unfortunately, the day before our wedding, a sprinkler head in our hotel room "popped" and spilled onto a portion of my wife's Vera Wang wedding dress. A small part of the dress was discolored from the mishap so we decided to take it to Madame Paulette's for emergency cleaning. They assured us they would only hand-treat the portion of the dress that was discolored and that they would not be putting the dress through a machine due to its delicate fabrics. After performing the cleaning, the dress was returned to us and we were shocked at once was a gorgeous dress. The entire dress was ripped and torn from top to bottom(I wish I could include pics in this post). As I am sure you can imagine, my wife was devastated. I could go on about how our wedding day was ruined but I will spare you those details. Also, they took advantage of our rush service and charged us $1500. I could have cleaned the dress in a washing machine for $2 and it would have come out the same or even better than what Madame Paulettes did. On many occasions they promised us a refund and a full re-build of the dress but it has been a year and they have yet to follow through. Just be careful of this place.
