J & W Auto & Transmission Repair

I can't imagine going anywhere else to have my car worked on. Mr. Jeff and the staff truly care about my business and want me to be safe on the road. I am so thankful that my dad sent me to J&W years ago. The oil changes are quick and affordable and they always accommodate my schedule. And if they find any issues, they give me options and suggestions...and I never feel like they are over-charging me. I know other places around Live Oak charge more for the services J & W provide me. I have had not-so-good experiences with other car repair shops in the past before I knew about J & W. Thanks, Dad, for sending me to Mr. Jeff and Thanks, J & W! Please keep up the good work; don't know what I'd do without you guys!

Our Chevy Express van broke down on the way to Florida from Georgia. We were able to get it pushed to a hotel for the night. The next morning had to call a tow truck. The driver and the hotel clerk both suggested J & W. We pulled up distraught with 8 children, 3 adults. We explained what happened with the van and they knew right away it was the catalytic converter. We were told approximately that it would take a few hrs to fix. About 3 hrs later we saw the van come down off the lift and out for a test drive. We were back on the road and drive a safe vehicle once again. Thanks so much for all that you did for us. I still love that bench and think it will better in my classic room than at the shop, lol. Thanks again.

I have an older model Nissan that developed what I thought was an idler pulley or power steering pump problem. I made the mistake of using a shop other than J&W. This shop flushed my power steering pump, charged a mint & assured me the problem was fixed. When it wasn't, I returned to J&W, explained the situation. 10 minutes later I had the correct diagnosis. It was an A/C problem. I wasn't prepared to do a major repair. They were quick to give me other options that let me protect the engine from potential damage, fit within my means & kept me safely traveling. This is definitely THE place to go!

This business is down home friendly and 100% reliable and efficient. The best place in Live Oak to have your vehicle serviced. From an appointment to an emergency on the fly.... This is the place to go!!!!

I only gave them a star because it would submit my review...the's guys are terrible.My husband and I were passing thru and our diesel truck broke down.AAA RECOMMENDED j&w.The wrecker took the truck there on Tuesday.They supposedly had it fixed Monday.The turbo hose blew off..put it on ..it blew again kept it over night we picked it up next morning...hooked up to our camper and just left campground and it blew again...limped back out to j&w...guys put it back on..test drove...blew again..limped to Ford dealer..bought all new parts and Jeff put them on again. .said we would be fine..didn't make it past the car lot and it blew again (the Ford dealer was not very nice either)...Jeff turned opposite way out of dealership and never looked back.I called and told the office help about the blown hose again and never heard a word from them.We wound up buying a new Dodge at Sunbelt (they took dead truck on tradr-in)They were wonderful people to do business with. ..I would not recommend J&W for anything.I also informed AAA.

As two girls on our way to Disneyworld, we got stranded in Live Oak after our drive shaft broke. J&W went above and beyond to help us out. Good honest people who didn't take advantage of a couple teens travelling interstate. Highly recommend.

I was on my way home to Nashville when my transmission have up. They helped me get a rental and a hotel room for my extended stay and started working on my car ASAP to get me back home. Jeff and Wade have excellent customer service going above and beyond to help me and their work detail is excellence. I would recommend the shop to anyone. Thank you so much for all your help in getting me home safely and as quickly as possible.

J&W was an amazing blessing for me. I brought my car in after I drove through standing water and the bottom needed repair. They worked on my car as soon as I pulled in and had me on my way within the hour. The staff was very friendly and I loved the Christian atmosphere.

J and W was the most welcoming and helpful repair shop that I have ever come across! I have a terrible jetta that is always breaking down this time i broke down on the highway and they did not try to take advantage of me. They gave the the most reasonable price iv ever received. The team members are extremely nice, and knowledgeable.

Thanks for letting us camp under the Oak Tree while you fixed our camper. A broken transmission can put a damper on a winter vacation but your hospitality and caring turned it from a nightmare to a pleasant memory.

I have taken my vehicle my to J&W auto repair on several occassions. I found his shop to be friendly,courteous and honest. His prices are the cheapest in town and I have not had any problems. I have been taken and over chargedf or repair work that was not needed from other shops. J&W gave me accurate results and my car did not leave his shop until they were satisifed that it was in great condition. They got me back on the road in no time. I will not use another repair shop other than j&w auto repair for all my service needs. I highly recommend you stop by and see for yourself.
