Tru-Tek installed a new roof on my townhome shortly before closing in October 2017, a job that was ordered by the previous owner. By agreement, the warranty carried over to me since the bill was paid at closing.

Since I've owned the home, shingles have been falling off the roof every year. I called them several times over the past 3 years, and to be fair, they did come a few times to fix the fallen shingles. When another shingle just fell off recently, however, despite promises of "getting back to me shortly" they stopped responding to my calls, texts, and emails. It's now been FIVE weeks that I've been trying to get in touch with them. It appears Tru-Tek has "ghosted" me and decided to no longer honor their stated 5-year warranty.

I will leave it up to you as to whether this is a company you want to do business with.

I am happy to update this review if Tru-Tek finally gets back to me, honors their warranty, and fixes the shingles that keep detaching from my roof.
