Technical Assistance

I called this store 10/29/09 at the # listed and asked if they carried graphics cards. The gentleman who answered said yes they did, and that I could get a 256mb AGP card for about $30, but to call back because he wasn't sure what brands they carried and he wasn't in the store at the moment.



I called back twice before he answered again, and he told me they were in fact out, and to call a different number to check with his "associate." He said to try this other person before calling him back. I called. The 2nd man had no idea what I was talking about when I said the gentleman from Technical Assistance gave me this number. He said, "I don't know anything about that." I asked him, what are the cheapest AGP or PCI graphics cards they carried, and he said they were $10.



I asked him his hours, and he said 10-4. I asked him where he was located, and he said "Geyer Springs." I said, that's where Technical Assistance is located. He got flustered, "uh, I don't know, what are you talking about? Uh..." I said, what's the address, and lo and behold it was Technical Assistance. I asked him what size the card was, he said the highest they had was 16mb. I haven't seen anyone sell under 128mb in 4 years.



I would never go to this store for "Technical Assistance" where the associates can't even confirm where the hell they are.



Btw, I called back the 1st man to tell him I had no luck. No answer of course. His message however, "We are opened from 10-6." These guys should get their stories straight.
