My experience with LRDC was very displeasing and unprofessional. The first time I came in I was 30 min early to my appointment. I was told I had to cancel because I was suppose to be an hour early, and they couldn't find my referral. So, I went ahead and rescheduled for a whole MONTH away just for a patient Consult. I came back one month later for the appointment I watched the appointment lady schedule only to be told it was cancelled again. The lady at the desk told me Dr. Wright told the nurse to cancel me that same day and to not put me back on his schedule. No one called or notified me by email to let me know this was canceled. I took off work and wasted time when we could be figuring out why I'm having symptoms. I am very disappointed in the way this was handled. I asked what could be done, and they said "nothing, he doesn't want to see you". The front desk lady was nice, she just unfortunately felt my anger because of everyone else.

Find another place to go. Long wait, then put into the Drs. waiting room for 70 minutes. I asked the nurse which test will I be taking today. He told me none, the Dr. just wanted to chat with me to see how I was doing. As I started to leave Dr. Bakhtawar was chatting with the staff in the hallway because she was excited about being off for a month to go on vacation. She blew me off with "I'll be there in another 5 minutes, then proceeded to socialize with the staff. When she saw that I was actually leaving she said, "I had a new patient today, you know how that is." No, I don't know how that is because I didn't start with her and last time I checked, I wasn't a Dr." My original Dr. Abercombie was fantastic from LRDC He ran up and down the stairs with me, checked my breathing and spent time with a way to make improvement with my Asthma attacks. Dr. Bakhtawar took over and it's been downhill ever since. Dr. Bakhtawar, if you are going to call someone in 2 months early (which implies a problem to me) just to chat before you go on a one month vacation, please call instead. It would save my time and my friends time which had to drive to Conway to pick me up and take me to Little Rock because we thought it was important.
