I received hail damage to my house as well as a leak that started to seep through my drywall in my bedroom. This was pretty concerning so I immediately started searching for roofers. Living in Little Elm, I decided to reach out to some local companies, luckily Kirk was one of those people o reached out to.



My leak was coming from my chimney which was a result of poor construction from the builders and the combination of heavy rain we received. Kirk came out on Memorial Day to fix the leak in the chimney since there was going to be more rain the following week. I couldn't find any other company that was willing to 1) work on a holiday and 2) work before getting paid. Kirk stopped the leak and settled on waiting until the insurance claim came back instead of charging me upfront for the service. (He even fixed a nagging door in my bathroom that wouldn't close completely!)



Kirk was very informative throughout the whole process, recommending what he would do and why. He is very upfront with his pricing and is open to answer any questions that I had, since this was my first claim. I can't stress how much that put me and my fiancées minds at ease.



My roof was completed in 2 days and it looks great. His team did a great job or being respectful of our privacy during their time at our property and did a great job of cleaning up their mess and nails. The big kicker is that my mortgage company is making me jump through all sorts of hoops to get my claims check to Kirk. This was a surprise to both of us, but he has been understanding and calm throughout it all. So basically, I have a new roof and Kirk hasn't been paid yet, which is crazy to think about, but he has been professional throughout it all and is willing to wait however long it takes until we get the claim back.



I can't recommend Kirk McCraw construction enough, I know my roof will need repairing again in the future and I will most certainly be contacting Kirk.

McCraw Construction made themselves available every step of the way and helped walk me through the pieces of the roofing replacement that I was unfamiliar with. It would have required much more effort on my part if I had to do that on my own.While I am no expert in roofing parts or supplies, based on the information provided to me by McCraw Construction and some research on the Internet I am comfortable with the quality of the parts and supplies used. McCraw Construction did an excellent job of cleaning up the work site when they were done. I found very little debris after Kirk did his walk around inspection (a couple nails and a wrapper that got stuck under a hose and that has been it.)McCraw Construction not only identified the issues, but then took the extra step of doing a quick fix to protect my property because of rain in the forecast. As a result my confidence in their intention to do a good job and their motives was significantly increased. They did what they said they were going to do and did it in a timely manner.

Team player all the way! The materials were top notch! There was very little debris left. The site was kept very clean. Kirk identified any problem tight up front, no surprises! I was satisfied! Reason 1, very timely, my house was one of the first done on my block, siding including! Reason 2, Kirk kept in contact with me even while waiting for insurance! Reason 3, Kirk was willing to address my concerns and seemed genuinely concerned himself and worked with me. I would recommend McCraw to all of my friends. He is local, and that makes me more assured that he stands by his work! Thanks for the great job!!!
