Pro Care Cleaning

Carpet Cleaning

Amy and I have operated this veteran-owned company since February of 2015. Pro Care Cleaning is a carpet, rug, tile or grout, and upholstery cleaning company in Lincoln, Nebraska. We have proudly offered service to Lincoln, Omaha and the surrounding communities for over thirteen years. Pro Care Cleaning is an IICRC Certified Firm and I am a certified Carpet Cleaner. The IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration) is the largest certification body in our industry. We strongly believe in the IICRC's educational and outreach mission.
Rug Cleaning
Here at Pro Care Cleaning we follow the same thorough, exhaustive wool rug cleaning process with every rug we clean. This process ensures the most complete and safe oriental rug cleaning possible.
Tile and Grout Cleaning
The third step in professionally cleaning grout is to provide agitation to both the floor and the grout lines. First we scrub the grout lines with a beveled brush designed for this purpose. Many tile and grout cleaning companies skip this step due to the fact that it requires a fair amount of elbow grease and takes a good deal of time. At Pro Care cleaning we believe this step is vital to obtaining the very best results possible. We don't skip any steps and least of all this one! Secondly, we utilize mechanical scrubbing of the floor as a whole - this conditions the tile itself for best results and gives the grout lines one final "going over".
Vacuuming
1. The most important step in taking care of oriental rugs is regular vacuuming. If possible, vacuum both the front and back of your rug. After vacuuming the back of the rug you will need to clean up the dirt that is dislodged from the base of the face fibers. Vacuum the front, then the back, clean up and vacuum the front once again. Performed at regular intervals, this vacuuming regime will prolong the life of your flooring textile.
Dusting
In the photo to the right I've flipped the rug over for dusting. I have my Westy Brandy helping me in the rug studio, but right now she's laying down on the job! She gave me a "picked on" look when I gently suggested she move.

Deodorizing
Sweeping
The first step in cleaning grout is to properly prep the floor. All chairs, wastebaskets, and any loose items will be removed. Tables can usually be left in the room and worked around. Loose soil is then removed by sweeping and/or vacuuming.

Damage Restoration

Water Damage Restoration
Of soft water with extraction. This gives us some added assurance that we have treated all potential biological contamination, not just what was readily apparent. After drying a second time we follow up with hand shampooing the piece. We mix up a small amount of our favorite upholstery shampoo and apply it to the cushion by hand with a cotton towel. We follow that up with a final soft water extraction.
