Please do not work with contractor! Our home had a pipe burst, received payment through insurance company. Insurance company gave checks to mortgage company. Mortgage company paid checks out in 3 installments. Contractor received first check had to complete a percentage of the work, per mortgage home inspector, percentage was completed. Contractor received 2nd installment, never came back to complete anymore work. We have to stay in a hotel from 8/21/15 until present (today's date 12/22/15), because contractor has disappeared with the money.

WARNING – BEWARE: Mr. Espinoza (Lonestar Construction) is a cordial individual, but his work is less than professional. I contracted him to re-roof my investment property and gave him a 50% deposit. During the next 54 days waiting for him to complete a job that should have taken less than two weeks at most, he called twice asking for an advance, which was denied. He had to be ordered to complete the job which upon the date to be completed he was still working. I had an independent inspection of the work performed by a licensed adjuster, Mr. Espinoza’s work was found to be poorly done and not meeting code. Recommendation: the roof has to be completely redone. Mr. Espinoza disagreed with the findings but was nevertheless asked to Cease and Desist.

I would caution anyone against using this contractor. They just dropped out of some major work on my house and left me hanging with work partially done - and they have not repaid me for the work/materials I prepaid but never received.
