I've been with this agency for probably 6 years now and have found them to be excellent. They hire experienced agents and have access to a ton of different insurers. They can help you with a wide variety of needs. I've never had experiences like the ones described by the other posters. No complaints whatsoever.

Overall

worse agency ever. Rude service, untimely responses, and run by people who don't know anything about insurance. They just won't listen to me!! They think they are right about everything. It is impossible (in their mind) that they are wrong!

WM schwartz is the worst agenc...

WM schwartz is the worst agency ever! They never added my new car onto my policy and 6 months after I got it, I got into a terrible accident and they would not help me. The manager just kept saying "you're stuck!" And that I should have felt sorry for him because he drove all the way from Kenosha, on his day off, to talk to me! They have been receiving my insurance payments for the past 6 months, but they say I'm not covered. So where's my refund for cashing my checks and not keeping me covered? He said again "you're in a catch 22". NO sympathy at all! Cold and uncaring! So when i asked, what about my gap in insurance, he said there was no gap! So did I have insurance or not? Or is it they don't want to pay? I've been a customer of WM Schwartz for 10 years, and this is how they treat me. Beware for those new clients!

Just want to be certain all the facts are out in the open on this one...Many facts and details of the situation are left out in this review. -Insured bought a brand new vehicle. -Insured failed to notify Insurance company or agent of this purchase. -Insured was told by auto salesman they would handle notifying insurance company of this purchase. -Auto Salesman did not notify company or agent of this new purchase. (this happens with some frequency) -Insured didn't seem to be angry with the dealership (at least in front of us) for not following through with their promise to report it for her. -In the interim, (Aprox 4 months after buying this new auto) A renewal policy with ID cards was issued to client displaying her old vehicle insured, ID cards for that old vehicle and a bill enclosed for that old auto, for the new term. -Insured paid that bill, and accepted the renewal with old Car Insured. -Insured had an accident with this unknown new car aproximately 6 months after purchase. (Please be aware as it may help someone else reading this All Insurance policies have conditions for auto purchases. This policy in question for client specifically states it is the duty of the insured to report new vehicle purchases within 30 days of a purchase. Some policies are less forgiving) -First knowledge of new automobile was day of accident...Aprox 6 months after. Agency called Insurance company decision makers to try and plead case...to try and get claim covered. Original company decision was not what anyone wanted to hear (for policy conditions and reasons listed above) Unfortunately, the agency was put in the position of being the messenger of that unfortunate news. We delivered the news the only way we knew how...and that was being matter of fact. It was definitely not a matter of being insensitive or as it's stating that we didn't care, it was a matter of being straight forward without mincing words to someone that was in an angry state of mind for having been a party to this experience. Agency was trying to explain the importance of policy conditions and why an insurance company was intending to stick to them. -The end result was that the insured was paid for a vehicle that was not insured on the policy. It was a decision that was not in our control and one that after long and hard thought, the insurance company decision to deny coverage for failing to comply with policy terms and conditions was overturned and paid. The Insurance company did what I feel is the right thing. They overturned their own decision quickly and paid this otherwise deniable claim out of good will. I am glad they did. The customer should be pleased with this result. -Thank you
