I wish they would care about animal as much as they charge...... Trying to charge additional $600 for theeth cleaning of 16 year old dog that had serious health issue which cost by the way was $1,200... Dog had only one week to live.... Sorry, but the only pros I see is that they have great hours of operation and 24 hour emergency....but you will pay for it on your bill

Must say that this is the most awful exsperience i ever had in life, the staff here are the most crud unprofessional people in the world !! If you love your pet do not take them here!!! I had took in a mama cat who had kittens, so i could watch over her and baby kittens so when mama weined them i could get her fixed and the female kittens when they turn about 6 months or at least 4 pounds.. Well on friday at 1 am one of the kittens at 4 weeks old turned for the worst!! I was woke up from this awful crying, to find her trying to crawl but her back legs went limp she would drag her back legs and cry so i called savannah animal hospital in lewis to get help, after sounding desperate with no other option the girl said to bring her in, i thought to my self wow someone with a heart well when i got there boy did things change as soon as they realize i couldnt aford the treament i ask if they would work with me in payments.. You should of saw the look on there faces i felt so dumb like are you serious!!! They ratter see the kitten laying there in pain suffering the doctor said i have no clue whats wrong but i can give her stairiods and dewarm her but cant guarantee that will help.. So we stand there im thinking thats great but if that dont work what next he said the word i didnt want to hear .. im like so what do i do he said thats up to you. Great well lets put her out of her troubles took them 2 sec to hand me papers and grab the needle im thinking to my self with all this high tec stuff someone has to pay for it right? So they ask me if i would like to be with her while they do this .. Please forgive me if my grammer or spelling isnt up to par hard to see to type this review from the tears running down my face. I learned quickly that these two where not only cruel but very unprofessional, they stuck the needle in her little paws not only once but twice and said its not working so they tried another paw, poor little kitten was screamimg at this point, her eyes where so glassy i couldnt watch then to hear the doctor say it isnt working were gone to have to go though the heart.. Omg!!! I lost it!!, oi said omg i have to get out of here, how to get out can i please leave now.. If i didnt get out of there i was gone to be carried out by the police.. that was the most cruelest exsperence i ever saw or heard in my life!! To top it off the next day i had a message on my phone hi this is billing from savannah animal hospital in lewis, my tec told me i needed to call you for a credit card to pay for are services, i apperciate if you could call me back before 4 thank you. Are you freaking kidding me, how bout hi im sorry for your lost, we here at savannah hospital would like to say you did the right thing and she is in a better place.. During this time we no it is hard for you and we are here for you we would like to set up payment arragments with you ... I would of had no problem asking family for help.. to pay for your so called high tec equipment that you dont have a clue how to use!!! This hospital is all bout the money not at all do they have any compassion for the animals .. To charge me for a emergency when no one eles was there but me my husband the tec and doctor.. I will write a review on every web site news paper i can think of to make sure everyone sees this and tell everyone i come across to spread the word not to take your animals to this vet !!! All they want is your money to pay for the fancy houses and cars and boats not for the high tec they have that to fool the rich people that they care .. Oh and i have a heart ill make my own payments on a monthy bases because these people dont deserve a dime but im not heartless !! It sickings me to see such a business take avandage of innocent animals chsrge me 150.00 to put a animal to sleep.. trust me i would ratter take my money and donate it to foster homes for homeless and sick animals then to put it in savanna animal hospital in lewis pockets ..
