China Star Chinese American Restaurant

My wife and I love Chinese food and have been lucky enough to be able to enjoy it in many different states across the country.
We have had some really excellent Chinese food and we've had some not so great Chinese food.
When we find a good place we stick to it.
The first time we ordered here it took over an hour for delivery (they are 5 miles from us) and the food was tasteless and bland and not of good quality.
We decided to give them another chance since any business can have a bad day. We ordered again, different selections from the menu and same thing, marginal quality food, completely tasteless, some of it possibly even prepared the day before and once again, over an hour to deliver. Third time is a charm right ???? Nope.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt this place has the worst Chinese Food we've ever had anywhere in the country. We gave them 3 chances in order to be fair but folks, don't waste your time or your money, ....their food sucks.
They were always polite and courteous though....but we can't eat that.

I'm not new to this place, I've been loved this place and ate there many times, and almost 2 times a week. I think the food is good, and I left a good review here before. However, I got home today after work and I start to feel sick, so my husband told me not to cook, instead, we will call this place for delivery.
We called in around 630pm, and hopefully to get food by 8. It was 815, nobody showed up, so we called in. Someone was suppose to check the order, put us on the phone for 3mins, and came back, said " It will be another 10mins". Are you kidding? it's been 1hour and 45 mins and you cannot make the food? We are pretty sure that the little kid there picked up the phone and didn't even tell the kitchen. Of course, when this happens, any professional place would tell you "im sorry, and this won't happen again." Or maybe something else? No!!!!! This place is really "powerful" on their "point of view". AFTER HANG UP WITH THE WAITRESS, MY HUSBAND CALLED IN AGAIN, THIS TIME, THE OWNER PIKED UP THE PHONE, told my husband: " the person who took order was new." then my husband said "don't you train them? they cannot even put in an order for take out?" THINGS JUST STARTED AFTER THIS, I can hear the owner YELLING on the other side of the phone while my husband is sitting in the living room and i was in the kitchen!!!!!

He basically said :" so what? he is new, and you should expect that when someone is new."
"I don't care if you don't get your food, I don't give a sh*t!"
"We have a new driver, you need to know that."
"I don't care if you come back or not, we don't give a sh*t!"
"Don't ever call in again, we will never deliver to you any way!"

Can anybody believe that this is from a restaurant? FYI, this owner is not Chinese, he is from Singapore. So please don't ruin Chinese reputation by being an a**hole.

I will never eat there again, and I will tell everyone else not to.

I don't know how many people in there tonight heard that conversation. I wish they could also spread the story.

Again, it's all their fault, and the result turned to us being needy? Sorry. No. This is the most disgusting thing ever happened to me.

Why is the same drunk there at the bar everytime we go. Last time he had a drunk and very rude buddy with him, in the middle of placing an order , these guys were so rude , we stopped are order paid for our drinks and left. We will not go back!. I have lived in lehigh just about my whole life and had several meals there , We will never go back again. Why would this restaurant allow this to happen!

Best Chinese food in Lehigh. Good mixed drinks too. I'm not sure what that other guy was talking about but the staff has always been friendly and professional.

A 60 year old scary biker chick that worked there tried to make out with my uncle!!!!!!!!
Then she sat sown at our table and was like" I'll hunt you down boy I'll get with you tonight babe" to my uncle. Just don't go. And the food sucks.
