Circle D Nurseries

My husband and I have been shopping for trees for years to fill the voids on our property. We were pleased to find Circle D. They have a wonderful selection of trees with many sizes to choose from - all the way up to 100 gallon container grown. The prices are very competitive and the merchandise is excellent quality. My husband and I have a rule that we don't buy a tree until the hole is dug, but we had to break the rule when we found 3 65-gallon oak that we much larger than other trees we've seen for the same price, which they also delivered at a very fair price. We are looking forward to going back to shop for more trees and shrubs.

I rarely take the time to praise a business on a public site, but I wanted to take a moment to give Circle D a round of applause. My wife and I have passed by their location off of 183 for years and never knew that it was there. Apparently they just opened their doors not long ago and remodeled an existing greenhouse into their site. We saw on their sign that they are open on Saturdays, so we went in this past weekend to check it out. The place is huge! Their selection is fantastic. I was greeted by a fellow named Matt and also the manager Bill. They are a wholesale nursery and they do most of their sales to landscaping companies, but he explained that they open on Saturday to give the public an opportunity to buy plants without a huge markup. I am an avid yard enthusiast and I can tell you that their prices are far better than any big box store or local garden center I have visited. The staff was also knowledgeable enough to advise us on our plant spacing and design for this spring. We actually ended up buying fewer plants to fill the space than I had anticipated. My wife is now planning more projects for me to conquer in the near future. It looks like I will be back at Circle D soon!

I never post reviews, but felt I needed to write one about my experience today. I stopped by to purchase a tree and some plants, was greeted by a young man who was extremely helpful. After telling him what I was looking for he should be a few trees, and found one I was interested in. He needed to check with his manager on the price since I wasn't in the landscaping business. I agreed to get the tree since the price was great but, soon the manager came out and changed the price from what I was quoted. I felt this was a little shady, but still thought the price was ok. I started looking at some plants and the same thing happened given one price than changed to another. As i proceeded to go to the office and pay; the manager changed the price again, at this point I told him this is the third price you gave me and he looked at me and said "your not a landscaper so you don't get landscaping prices, and I knew I shouldn't have sold you anything". At this point I told him don't worry about selling me anything for I am disgusted with your behavior and left. I failed to tell you that me seven year old was with me, and asked why did that man treat you like that. Pretty said when a child ask, why someone acted the way they did. needless to say my neighbor was buying a tree from them to, but since I was treated this way we will both take our business elsewhere.
