League City Police Department

My husband and I were on our way to drop him off at work but we also had to pick up someone else on the way. Lcpd saw us made an immediate u turn and proceeded to follow us. When we turned into the the person house we were picking up they did another turn around and followed us for about 7 miles and then turned their lights on before they would be out of jurisdiction so when they stopped us they claimed it was for a wide right turn but they were really doing was racial profiling they saw a dark car full of blacks and thought we were dope dealers and called for 2 other units for back up it was ridiculous so they may be a so called great police dept but they do have some racist officers in their unit.

My daughter got a speeding ticket and she was crying and upset and had called me and I hear the police officer say is there a reason why your nervous? She has a severe learning disability and is delayed by 3 years not all young people are nervous because their hiding something!! He was very rude and I was on speaker and didn't hesitate to tell him she has a disability and there's no reason you can't let her off with a warning! She just can't cut a break lately poor kid!! She's a good person and only 18 almost 19 and a Senior in Highschool!! Those police in League City have a bad reputation for pinpointing out younger people and I can see profiling that's awful!! Shame on you police officers there!! You should treat people with respect and decency and not give tickets out to everyone!! Some people deserve a break once in a while!! I'm not happy with the way she got treated either he could have been nicer about it. The police need to remember without the taxpayers they wouldn't have a job! Also my brother in law is a state trooper and he's not like that at all!

I 'm a black man and I cross the road with my 22 rifle strap to my shoulder; walking through my friend property. Making sure no one had broken into his place while he is away. The league city police enter the property guns drawn all over me. Was really afraid. I will go talk to the head chief to see if they want me and my wife to move out of the city.

They are terribly racist and racial profile black ppl. They ant find dirt on you so they make things up.I am glad I don't live in this piece of crap city.I wouldnt feel safe around them.
