        I hired Daniel in May for a project he said would take 2 weeks. Now he says he "might" be able to get to it in January. He's refused a refund, refused me to collect the materials, and because I've followed up once a month and expressed my concerns that things were dragging on too long he's now refused answering phone calls or text messages. Out of curiosity I searched the Galveston County legal records... misdemeanor, felony, and small claims cases all show up on his record.... all public record free for anyone to view. I highly recommend finding another contractor as I believe I'm being ripped off by someone who has no respect for the law. I will update this review if for any reason I'm wrong about him and he provides a refund or miraculously finishes the project which is now 16 weeks behind schedule.

        Overall

        The owner of Ballard & Son Construction, Daniel is very professional. We've used him for home improvement projects and building fence. The jobs were quoted accurately the first time and the quality was top notch. Would recommend Ballard and Son to friends.
