Andre Appliance A/C & Heat

Was accused of tampering with heater after worker came and bypassed a wire to the manual switch which probably caused my control board to burn up. Then want to charge me $329 no charge to service call or labor but that's not the point because they are still trying to charge me. Then to be accused. Will make sure to tell everyone NOT to use Andre Appliance. Very disappointed because I thought they were honest people.

I recently purchased a home. Prior to the purchase, the inspector found the hot water heater wasn't up to code. We amended the contract to include a reinstallation of the water heater by a qualified professional. The invoice I received was from Andre Appliances Service and indicated that the code violation was corrected. The problem was the Andre didn't actually do the work! The previous homeowner did, they just wrote it up on the invoice to make it look legit! The previous homeowner was the one that screwed up the installation in the first place! After I moved into the house, I realized that the vent pipe was leaking, so I called Andre to get it corrected, but of course the story I got was "Andre didn't do the work" so they were not going to fix the problem. So, not only did they deliberately mislead me about the invoice, they didn't back up their "work." Very shady stuff going on here. Find someone else!
