Knight Air is a great company and the reviews prove it, unfortunately, it has merged with Casteel Air and they are one of the worst, and the reviews indicate that (Yelp) . You call Knight Air, and the technician comes out in a Knight Air truck, but you write your check to Casteel Air. Casteel Air is more concerned with upselling you accessories than fixing the problem. Like one of the reviews stated, Casteel is a Cadillac company and charge at least 50% more than any other company would charge. Plus, they will also charge you a diagnostic charge of $89 which is nothing more than a service charge which does not apply toward a repair. It seems to me that Casteel is using the good reputation of Knight Air and yet is receiving the outrageous fees and service under the less desired practices of Casteel to avoid the bad reviews of Knight Air. Kinda like bate and switch.
My advice is to go elsewhere for HVAC service and repairs. It's kinda like when you go to have a repair on your car done, they try to scare you into buying or servicing things that are not related to the problem. Plus, Casteel isn't sure of their repairs, so they don't give out guarantees of repair, not even if you have the same issue that evening.

I recently had Knight to install two HVAC systems after interviewing and rating five contractors. I did extensive research on HVACs. I was sure I would retain a big box store to install my units. However, when comparing and speaking to several companies, it came down to Knight and another company. I chose Knight because of my ongoing relations with service calls and Joel's availability to provide pertinent information and to address all my concerns. Since this was a big purchase. I wanted to be assured I would receive the best customer service. I maintain a very high bar of excellence and Knight met that standard. I have one additional system that will probably need replacing in the future. No additional research would be required because I found the company to install and address my future service needs.

Knight Air Conditioning and Heating Co. is the most professional and courteous company I have ever had the priviledge of doing business with. The entire staff from the person who answered the phone to the skilled Technician who came to my house treated me with respect and listened to my needs. Mr. Ross (service manager) was extremely helpful and got someone out that day to service my equipment. They have earned a customer for life.

I would not recommend this company at all, they treated me awful and my experience with them was the worst I have ever had. The service manager Mr. Ross was very rude and I would stear clear of this company.
