Family Orthodontics

The absolute worse doctors experience I have every had! This is my first time having to wear braces and I was very nervous about the situation. The initial consultation was very professional and welcoming but of course it would be.. its selling time! I had recently started working at an establishment making good money and thought this was the best time than any to start treatment. My first appointment was very difficult for me, having to wrap my head around the fact that I was about to start wearing braces. I was extremely nervous! The lady that put on my top row was very friendly through the process so I was ok. My second appointment was for me to put on my bottom row. The assistant asked me if I wanted clear or metal, not knowing I had an option, I quickly picked clear to go with my top row. I believe this is where the problems began. The assistant left me to go consult with the doctor and a group of her coworkers. You can tell by their demeanor that it was a problem and the attitude began. I thought to myself if it was so unorthodox to have clear on the bottom why did she offer it to me!! If it was such an issue why ask me!! They made me feel as if I was being a problem patient and treated me as such. Which I found to be so mind blowing! Every appointment after was a problem! The attitude I received from the staff every time I walked through the door was baffling! The doctor seemed to be just as rude but he did a better job hiding it. Soon after the treatment began my company closed and I found myself unemployed and falling behind on my bills. With my financial situation was doing a complete downward spiral I was unable to keep my appointments until I could clear my balance. I recently found employment again after several months and am working on clearing my balance so that I can be in good standing again. When I went in for my appointment today it felt as if everyone knew my financial situation and the attitudes was that much worse! I sat down to be treated and I hear over my shoulder "hey before you get started let me speak to you about her case" one assistant speaking to other the assistant that was assigned to me. The conversation was not quite at all and extremely rude. The assistant felt the need to tell mine that I was only there to get something removed and not there for full treatment because I still had an outstanding balance. Which I was aware of and now the whole office is aware of as well. I had to chuckle to myself to stop my self from reacting! I don't recommend this office to anyone!!!!! And I mean that from the bottom of my heart!!!! They maybe good at what they do but their customer service is the absolute worse. Don't be fooled by the friendly consultation or the corny cheap small talk that the doctor trys to give you before every appointment. God forbid you fall on hard times or through any financial hardship they will be quick to remind you by their behavior, as if you don't have enough to worry or feel bad about. You should never have to dread or feel guilty about going to a doctors appointment. I feel like I was labeled from the very start by simply answering a question! Don't ever come here!! Thank God I am back on my feet and will be scheduling my next appointment in a few weeks with a different office. This location is much closer to my home but I am willing to travel just to insure I will never feel this way again!!!!
