The agency began in 1982. At that time, George Tipler became Secretary of the Board of Directors and Manager of Vinland Town Mutual Insurance Company. The company offered insurance coverage for homes and farms. George recognized that to provide complete service to our policyholders, there were other insurance needs that needed to be addressed. He soon made other products available such as auto, health, life, personal umbrellas and leisure vehicle coverage. Since 1988, our agency has also offered crop insurance. In addition to acquiring these products, our agency has been recognized as a Blue Chip agency for quality with 1st Auto Casualty and a silver level recipient by Rural Community Insurance Services for Multi-Peril Crop Insurance service. George has earned professional designations of RHU (Registered Health Underwriter) LUTCF (Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow), AIC (Associate in Claims), and PFMM (Professional Farm Mutual Manager). In 2012, Erin Siegmann joined the agency after an occupation as a teacher. Erin brings her strong organization and communication skills to our agency. With her help, we are now able to better serve our customers with providing additional products. In 2014, our agency began assisting clients in securing health insurance coverage on and off the Health Insurance Marketplace.
