don,t think you can expect lamcraft to read your mind, you are your own contractor and all responsability rests with yourself to specify to lamcraft exactly how you want it made, out of what materials, what size that you measure, and what color and finish you pick. they only make what you specify. if you are a novice hope is not going to help you. lamcraft is exactly what the say the are= fabricators not incharge of making sure you know what you are doing. they know how to make great work.you need to know what they know, they are you employee and all responsibility for decissions is you own. i have been extreamly happy with their exactness to my demands and did not refrain from telling them i am a perfectionist. learn how to swim before you jump in the pool. gs design associates, b.f.a. wynnewood, pa.

I bought new kitchen counter tops at Home Depot and they told me that the company that make them (Lamacraft) was great and would take care of everything. That was October 2005 and I'm still waiting. First they made it wrong, then they 'fixed' it and installed a defective counter top! Formica inspected my counter top and sent a letter that they would pay for the repair, but Lamacraft won't return my calls. It's been 10 months and I still don't have the counter top I paid for. Whatever you do avoid this company. Once they get their money you will never hear from them again.
