The Hempfield Area Recreation Commission, located in Landisville, Pa., is a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of recreational activities and services. It offers a variety of programs, such as preschool, youth, teens, adults, seniors, travel and outdoors. Its aquatic center s facility includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It offers a full range of water exercise classes ranging from low-impact shallow water exercise to high intensity hydrofit exercise classes. The Hempfield Area Recreation Commission provides swimming lessons that include swim America preschool and school age programming, aqua-tots and private lesson arrangements. Its fitness and wellness facility offers a wide variety of group exercise programs throughout the day and evening. Its classes range from indoor cycling to aerobic classes, including strength and cardiovascular training.
