I would give him ( Rob Douglas) and his company a zero if it was available. This is a man who wastes your time and money. I took off without a day's pay so that I would be available, but the man was a "no show". He did not have the decency to call to explain or apologize. If you go on his website, he offers nothing but lies. His honesty and integrity can be woefully challenged. He seems like a nice guy when you meet him for the estimate....but believe me, in my opinion he is nothing but a wolf in sheeps' clothing. He picks and chooses the jobs as they come in, and takes the jobs that will profit him by doing the least bit of work. All of his promises on his website are a façade!!!! Beware!!!!

Douglas Tree had a great website and seemed to be the perfect small business to help. They were friendly, and I had an estimator come out within a few days.



They gave us a great price and we accepted and made an appointment. It was for a Friday morning so I had taken the day off to make sure that the house was ready and they could easily get to our backyard.



9 came around and no one showed. I called them to see if they had been running late. The secretary told me that they should've been there and she would call me back. I waited a few hours and got no call. I did this at least 4 times.



I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. In their voicemail, they say that my call was important, but it certainly wasn't. They had a great price but customer service was atrocious. I have made my last call and will be finding a new place to trim the trees. I don't know how they stay in business with such little care for customers.

Best tree service serving Lancaster County Pa., This company is top notch when a prior tree service tops or misprunes your trees. Topping is not a proper pruning procedure. Douglas Tree & Property Services saved our trees from dying from incorrect pruning practices.
