Great Lakes Carpet Tile

Don’t buy your flooring from Great Lakes and save yourself time and money! We ordered carpet and set an installation date for a few weeks out. When we called Great Lakes the day before our installation to confirm the appointment, we were told we could expect the carpet to arrive on time the following morning. At 2:30 p.m. that same afternoon, we received a call saying there was an issue with our order and they could not tell us when the carpet would arrive or when it would be installed. We had already scheduled several other contractors to perform work on our house, which was contingent on our floors being installed. As a result, the renovations on our home had to be delayed for 5 weeks and ended up costing us a lot more money. The people at Great Lakes couldn’t care less about the inconvenience they had caused. Had Great Lakes given us more than a few hours notice, we could have rescheduled some of the other contractors and hopefully avoided the 5-week delay. Since Great Lakes could never tell us when the carpet that we originally ordered would arrive, we shopped elsewhere. Extremely disappointed with Great Lakes customer service.
