Guaranteed Appliances

This company was chosen by Sears. They were supposed to come out between the hours of 1-5pm and fix my 5 month old dryer. They never showed up. I called Sears who gave me their number to call. I called but got an answering machine. I hung up and called Sears back. They looked into it and called me back stating the company did not feel safe coming out to my house because I swore at them. I did not. They made that up probably because they were unable to fulfill their contract with Sears. On top of waiting over 4 hours I waited 7 days just to get the appointment. I suggest not using this company if you want something fixed in a reasonable amount of time.

I used this company for a washing machine I was having problems with. They were on time and fixed the washer. When I went to use it, I started a load and began to do other things around the house. I went to the garage and my laundry room was floodiing and the water was going throug the vents into the basement. I called Friday morning and they told me they could get there on monday afternoon, No matter how much I pleaded they would not come right away. When he arrived he had it fixed in about ten minutes and said that he forgot to hook up a hose in the machine. When I showed him the damage and explained I had to have a heating and air company come and make sure there was no damage to the furnace, due to about 80 gallons of water going into it, he said no problem. He said that they had insurance and it was no problem. Two days later when I turned in the receipts for the damage he would not return my calls. After ten calls I finally got him on the phone and he said he was not going to pay me. He asked me if I have ever made a mistake, I said yes and that I pay for my mistakes and he replied I dont. DO NOT USE THIS LOOSER!!!!!!! You will be sorry. I have to sue him to get my money back.

Call this guy, he knows what he's doing, fast, fits u in the schedule, just let then know what time u need then & they will squeeze u in to get the work done. The price is low, I recommend him.

I have been using Guaranteed Appliance Parts in Lake in the Hills for the last 19 years. Always very helpful in diagnosing my problems and very honest. When my daughter bought a house she the oven temperature was way off. Even though I was able to find the schematics on the Internet I could not figure out what was wrong and assumed that the controller had failed. I told my daughter to contact Guaranteed Appliance Parts. They came out and told her to remove the aluminum foil that she had lined the oven racks with and then only charged her for half the normal minimum charge. How many repairmen would have replaced the controller, told her not to line the racks and charged her big$s? My sincere hope is that they stay around as long as I own appliances!

My fridge broke down and I called Guaranteed Appliance Parts. They didnt have a appointment for me but they squeezed me in anyway. The technician was was quick to fix the problem, explained the issue and charged me only the service call fee. I highly recommend them.

I found Guaranteed Appliance when I filed a claim on my dryer through my home warranty. They came out and repaired it in minutes. The tech was polite and provided some knowledge xfer about dryers to me which was awesome for a do-it-yourselfer like me. Since than, I goto Guaranteed Appliance for parts when my ancent dryer acts up. I just bought an ignition coil for less than ebay. Too bad I can't put the dryer back together.. oh well.. time to call 847.658.7404 again.. :-)
