NextCare Urgent Care

Five stars from the receptionist who answered our call and gave us perfect directions to the friendly nurse and very caring doctor. They did a chest X-ray, breathing treatment and explained everything to great detail concerning my husbands bronchitis. We highly recommend them and will go back to them if we need medical care. DO NOT GO TO TROYER URGENT CARE IN LAKE HAVASU CITY AZ! I went in with mild abdominal pain concerns. Got my vitals taken. The PA came in and quickly informed me that he was sorry that Troyer Urgent Care could not offer me any services because they had NO IMAGING CAPABILITIES & NO LAB SERVICES available on site. THIS TOTALLY CONTRADICTS WHAT THEY ADVERTISE ON THEIR WEB SITE! Perhaps all they can do is treat allergies and sinus issues? I was mislead by the web site and by the receptionist when I made my appointment by phone the day prior. THEY CHARGED ME $95.00 UP FRONT AND COULD NOT GIVE ANY SERVICE TO ME! They suggested I go to the hospital, which I did (although I did not have a life threatening issue). Lake Havasu Regional Medical Center's ER staff were disgusted with Troyer Urgent Care that day because they had turned away 7 other patients that day--referring them to the hospital after collecting the patient's money and not providing a service! This is not only extremely unprofessional, but unethical! They should have a disclaimer in the waiting room expressing their lack of services--Let the patient know before taking their money. DO NOT PUT YOUR MEDICAL CARES IN THE HANDS OF THIS FACILITY!
