Village Pack N Ship

Would not recommend trusting Village Pack N Ship with anything valuable to pack and ship. We bought extra insurance for a major two crate shipment but they passed the buck and said the claim was too late, even though they said they cover whatever Fedex does not cover, and Fedex allows 90 days to make a claim. Once we made the claim with Fedex, we were told to go through the Pack N Ship and they said it was too late for their insurance, even though it was well within the 90 days. However, when I asked for documentation of the insurance policy, they could not provide any so I think they just pocketed the money that we paid for insurance. They would not even give me a contact name and phone number of the insurance company. In fact, they do not document a shipment very well at all, so please, ask for all documentation upfront and don't believe them when they say you will be well covered and have nothing to worry about!
